Thorpe Park: General Discussion

Yeah, as nice as this looks, I feel it should have either been 1) paint the entire track or 2) do nothing at all. It will look a bit odd next year, and by the time they repaint the other half the original half painted this year will look worn.

It's great that they are doing TLC but either go all in or all out.

Considering this route will be the main thoroughfare to their first new coaster in 75 years with hundreds of thousands of guests walking past it’s even more of a poor decision.

Just pay a few more folks so they can get the whole thing painted in one off season.

There's so much work going on around Thorpe this year during the closed season.

Obviously, every winter the parks become a construction site but chatting to some managers this is the buyiest it's ever been.

Lots of rides and paths are being yet washed

No swings today, the top of the ride was taken off and has already been put back on. Not holding back this year.

Rush getting standard annual maintenance. Storm Surge getting standard annual maintenance. A jet washer doing a once over on some of the pathways. Half of a 20 year old coaster getting repainted. Only "Insane" by Merlin standards. Bellow bare minimum for most other park operators.
