I can't say I have paid 100% attention to detail to everything that's gone on for the duration of this project, but I'm pretty sure that Towers could have installed a piece of trick track without anyone seeing in...I don't know...the massive 3 week gaps between aerial photos when the park was closed and no one had any idea what was going on? I'm not ITK but unless everyone else here is, it's impossible to rule it out until opening day. People dismissing the idea completely are just as bad as those (well, the one member) that is saying it will definitely happen.

To be honest, as of the last 24 hours or so we've come to a point where nothing new is really happening and no-one really knows anything for sure of anything extra that may become apparent when the ride opens. It's very boring reading the same tired arguments. Can't we just wait until something significant happens or the ride actually opens instead of talking c**p for the sake of it? Sorry, I forgot, this is a speculation forum and everyone is entitled to talk drivel if they want to :)

so do we know what is inside the indoor bit at the start of the ride or is it still a mystery?

so it could contain an unknown vertical drop basically i am going off the game because so far the track resembles the game so much and if the 7 mystery boxes in the unveiling soon in may tab are the secret parts of the track then this is going to be amazeballs :twirly:

It would be delusional to expect anything more than a the drop and barrel roll in the dark with some special effects.....maybe a spinning tunnel at the end if we are lucky.

I agree that it'll be more a case of the illusion of various things happening, but as long as it is executed very well then I don't think it'll matter or seem disappointing.

I agree. Remember that one of the big focuses of this ride is 'mind manipulation', or a varient of that. It's more realistic to assume that what happens in the station building will trick the riders into believing something is happening when it's not. We also know there will be a projection of some sort in the building, so that gives credence to there being an illusion.

I think this is more likely than a vertical drop or 'washing machine' element, as neither of those play with the mind and wouldn't fit the theme.

The extra seven unlockables are only for the track and the marmaliser.
The first 5 are the marm arms (More needles for example) (There are four in real life, only two ingame)
the last 2 are for the thirteenth and fourteenth inversions. :)
Or the seventh unlockable could be the Disorientator

I doubt it will be for the legs, there is nothing exciting about a few extra pictures. I'm pretty sure the two, maybe three will be inversions, another will be the pre show/ mapping thing, the rest could be more disorientation effects, I'm not sure. :twirly:

Edit;; I've actually just played the game and all are labeled "Secret worlds first revealed may 2013"
So Im pretty certain it won't be the legs.
However when in the game I've seen two things-
1- going under the marm legs, there are the images that pop up, could this be the use of the project mapping? I'm not too sure on what mapping is, so I could be completely wrong.
2- The riders are wearing the glasses seen on the actors in x sector, I know its been ruled out already, but maybe a possibility?

There won't be any form of vertical drop, no.

There are actually three syringes on the leg of the Inoculator. One of the game unlockables is not going to be one extra syringe, that is hardly anything secret or special. There are three inversions to still unlock in the game. That leaves four more things to unlock, one of which will probably be the Disorientator. I have no idea what the other three could be though.

There are one or two still there, you can see them when you look through the construction fences, however I have no idea if these will stay when they landscape the area. However quite a few were removed when the Blackhole tent went.

Anyone get the feeling that they're not gonna be able to get that defective panel on the screen sorted out any time soon? That would be a shame.

I hope it gets sorted soon.

Either it's an electrical problem that is difficult to fix. Or the screen broke during installation so they are awaiting a new one to be delivered.

Yeah, maybe. I stupidly assumed that those TST photo's were the latest as they had been put on here today. Silly me!

Yes the panels are fine now as far as im aware, Im not sure how it all works but while it was testing on Thursday at some points not all the panels work, but then it changed colours and all worked, or different panels didnt work. You can see when its red and green on the photos above different LEDS aren't working.

This is of course why they test it all!

Could there be a projection onto the mist in the station? There is a mist before the drop in dispatch on the game, something like seen in Pirates of the Caribbean perhaps? Dr K's face projected onto it.

Panel made up of LEDs of different colours, when 2 or 3 colours light at once you get the mixed colour.
