I'm sorry for your loss @delta79; have my deepest condolences. I'm sure Billy lived a good life, and it sounds like he died in a good way.The family dog Billy the chocolate labrador had to put to sleep today.
He was our last link to my step daughter kim who died of acute myeloid leukaemia in 2009 aged 17.
So its been a bit of a double blow in that respect.
However the vets were great. They decided that due to the restrictions they would put him to sleep in the garden area at the back so we could all be with him.
So he passed away laid down on the grass in the sunshine.
