TST Scarefest Meet: 20-21 October 2012

So crazily excited for this, it's unreal! :D Also looking like basically everyone wants to do Scare Mazes which is fabulous!

Now I need to actually get on with sorting my costume - expecting everyone to be doing the same!

I really can't wait for the mazes now! I will get my money out of my pass, plus it looks like me and Chris will be at the Vane for drinks then getting a taxi back to Leek as it's cheaper.
 
I do feel a bit cheeky for doing this as I know that Natalie is already offering makeup services but I really need to build up my portolio.

I will do makeup for free or a small charge (If I use more expensive materials) and then take your photo (as long as you accept) for use in my portfolio for specialist hair and makeup.

I don't have an awful lot, just a few things that I can do a fair bit with. A basic halloween pallete, white, black and red paints, white cream makeup, a darker eyeshadow pallete (about 50 colours) a set of brushes, scar wax, lash glue and liquid latex.

I would suggest an hour of whoring Nemmy's front row to get rid of the hangover, but there's no ERT during Scarefest. ;)

You will just have to have a hour extra in bed then go on some rides? Or have a huge Flambo's breakfast.
 
Hello, I have a question.
As a non freedom pass type person who is only at the meet on the Sunday, what would I do about buying tickets for the paid mazes, in order to go through with freedom pass type people??
 
Thanks Dave :) Assuming majority of the group would probably do ToTT when it opens if I went for 2.30 (after lunch and cheap tickets) that might work?
 
I'll be there again on the same day coincidentally with you lot again. I'll try not to shout from afar and instead actually say "Hello" this time before any of you can call me Kerrigan.
 
Quick question, where is everyone planning on getting changed into their costumes etc? I ask because people are usually on resort but, many aren't this year.

Are people driving back to the Vane to get changed and then coming back?
 
Some last year went back to the vane. Some gate crashed peoples rooms on resort and others wore most of their costume all day and popped into a toilet to finish the rest off. I think its down to what your actually planning on wearing and how easy it is to put on.
 
I should hopefully be attending the Saturday and quite possibly Sunday, too! at around half 9, if the buses from Uttox are still running at the usual time.

Saying that, is the latest bus running to Uttox at about 6pm? My train doesn't leave the station until 8 so it seems a shame to waste 2 hours waiting around..
