ℹ️ Heads up...
This is a popular topic that is fast moving Guest - before posting, please ensure that you check out the first post in the topic for a quick reminder of guidelines, and importantly a summary of the known facts and information so far. Thanks.
I'll defend them on this one - they are understandably keen to make it clear early on that guests can't do this particular thing yet, as in, if they visit this weekend. Otherwise you can bet someone will accuse them of false advertising.
I say this as seriously as it's possible to be over what is ultimately a family rollercoaster in a world with much more important things going on, but Dragon's Fury's availability is bad enough that I wouldn't mind them just tearing it down and putting it something else there. It's toss of a...
Having that first drop just an hour's drive from my house is going to be incredibly bad for my productivity. If it's even close to being as good as The Big One's drop, I have a feeling I'll be looking for pretty much any excuse to go to Thorpe next year.
Just a bit silly isn’t it - they know that kind of joke will rub plenty of their guests the wrong way.
Comes from the top though doesn’t it, when the guys at the very top seem to have an attitude of ‘we do what we want and if you don’t like it, tough,’ it’s no wonder that mindset extends to...
This is interesting and I don't doubt that Thorpe know better than me, but is that really necessary? Aren't almost all the rides just 'put bag here, sit in seat, pull down big bar, do seatbelt'?
I'm biblically terrible at guessing which IP's are popular enough and which aren't but I don't know if Minions is popular enough to be a 'must' in the UK.
I don't even hate the logo particularly but it is a shame that I've seen four or five fan-made ones over the last few days that I like much more.
If they are serious about listening to guests going forward, sometimes it's best to do that before making huge decisions that can't be reversed any...
The person who designed the logo is apparently the same person managing their social media, so I'm not sure it's an attempt to be playful or if they've taken offense to the criticism and are genuinely posting stuff in anger that they shouldn't be.
I don't see the need for brands to try and 'hit back' at criticism at all. No benefit to it IMO.
Darryl is also being rude, but he's a person, not a company.
That Thorpe Park Twitter admin needs to be reassigned to something out of the public view. Yesterday would've been the best time but better late than never.
Shame, I think Icarus would've been a great name if they had managed it.
Still I don't hate Hyperia as a name and echo the above that at least it isn't another horror-themed ride.
